Our Story
Founded with a passion for souls, The Ark Ministries has grown into a vibrant and welcoming community in Edmonton. We are committed to teaching the truth of God's Word and creating an atmosphere where lives are transformed by His presence.
From humble beginnings to a growing congregation, our focus remains the same: to see lives changed, restored, and empowered to fulfill their purpose. We believe that every person has a unique calling, and we are here to help you discover and walk in it.

Our Core Beliefs
The foundational truths that guide our teaching, worship, and community life.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living, providing the ultimate standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried.
God the Son
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, sharing the same divine nature and attributes.
God the Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the active operation of spiritual gifts in the church today.
God the Father
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of humanity, hears and answers prayer, and saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Biblical Interpretation
We believe that Scripture must be interpreted in its historical and grammatical context, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, and understood in light of the whole counsel of God's Word.
Humanity in God's Image
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, but fell into sin, resulting in spiritual death and separation from God. All people are born with a sinful nature and are in need of salvation.
Salvation Through Christ
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It cannot be earned by human effort or good works. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
Eternal Life and Judgment
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation.
The Church as Body of Christ
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. The Church is the body of Christ, composed of all born-again believers, called to worship God, edify one another, and proclaim the Gospel.
The Church as Witness
We believe the Church is called to be a witness to the world, demonstrating the love and power of God through evangelism, discipleship, compassionate service, and the pursuit of justice and righteousness.
